Privacy Policy

This policy describes how ANITS ("we") handles information on www.ctcplanner.com (the "Site"). The short version: the Site is designed so that we do not receive your financial information at all.

1. Calculations stay in your browser

Every salary, tax, and deduction calculation on this Site executes entirely on your device. The figures you enter — CTC, rent, investments, insurance premiums, and any other input — are never transmitted to our servers, never logged by us, and never stored by us. Closing the tab discards them.

2. What we do process

Hosting logs. The Site is served by Vercel Inc., whose infrastructure records standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and operations, retained per Vercel's policies. We do not enrich or combine these logs with any identity.

Theme preference. Your light/dark choice is kept in your browser's local storage on your device. It is not a tracking cookie and is not sent to us.

Aggregate usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand which tools are used and how fast pages load. This is cookieless, sets no identifiers, and cannot identify you: it records aggregate page views, referrers, coarse device/country categories, real-user performance metrics, and a small set of feature events (for example, that a report was downloaded, or that the calculator was used with a salary in a broad range such as "20–35L"). Exact salary figures are never transmitted — the code enforces this with an allowlist that strips anything else.

Email. If you write to contact@anits.in, we receive what you send and use it solely to respond. We do not add you to mailing lists.

3. What we do not do

No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no cookies for analytics, no sale or sharing of personal data, no profiling, and never your salary figures — analytics is aggregate and anonymous by construction. Exported reports (PDF, Excel, CSV, JSON) are generated in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.

4. Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and comparable laws, you may request access to or erasure of personal data we hold. Because the Site stores none, such requests will typically concern email correspondence only — write to contact@anits.in and we will act on them.

5. Changes

If we ever introduce features that change this posture (for example, accounts or saved calculations), this policy will be updated first and the change will be dated. See also our Trust Center.
